The UWPC Board of Directors has authorized the release of $25,000 for this upcoming grant cycle.  The mini grants will range up to $2,000 and will fund projects that address community gaps that fit the mission, vision and values of the UWPC, which are Education, Health and Financial Stability.  Grant recipients will be non-profits, faith-based agencies, K-12 schools, tribal and community organizations that serve Pinal County residents.
Collectively these efforts will support the county and statewide efforts of ensuring a ready workforce by 2030.
Coolidge FUNdamentals Scholarship Fund

The Coolidge FUNdamentals Scholarship is a pilot effort within the UWPC. According to the Arizona Youth Survey our youth chooses to use drugs as a way to self- medicate because of an inability to cope with stress. Teaching youth other ways of stress management at an early age can help increase their coping skills and possibly reduce their need for self- medication.

Many families aren't able to fund these enrichment activities due to financial hardship. Through our partners and our scholarship fund, we are able to help families get their kids into extra-curricular activities. This allows children to continue to discover who they are while exploring the world around them.

We would like to acknowledge our grant portal sponsor SRP.
