What does United Way of Pinal County do?
Our Values
United Way of Pinal County strives to be a model of diversity and inclusion, with our Board of Directors, staff and volunteers reflecting the many faces, cultures and walks of life that make up the communities we serve. We respect, value, and celebrate the unique attributes, characteristics and perspectives that make each person who they are. We also believe that bringing diverse individuals together allows us to collectively and more effectively address the issues that face our communities. It is our aim, therefore, that our partners, strategies, and investments reflect these core values.
History
Since 1981, United Way of Pinal County has been serving our communities with programs geared to improve the lives of every person in Pinal County. The way we accomplish that is by identifying the root causes of some of most pressing problems and partnering with organizations to help us provide the possible outcomes. In many cases, United Way of Pinal County has created the programs and services of some problems that haven't been addressed.
United Way of Pinal County is accountable to a group of volunteer Board of Directors which represents, geographically and demographically, Pinal County. This group oversees the leadership, policies, finances, programmatic and fundraising efforts.
