Community Impact

What is Community Impact? It is United Way mobilizing the community through the annual campaign and otherwise generating resources, and matching those resources with the most critical community needs to promote lasting changes in the lives of Pinal County people.

In 2005, United Way of Pinal County announced that, as a result of our extensive community assessment, we would focus resources on the five issues identified with the most frequency and urgency by the people we surveyed: early childhood development, self-sufficiency, domestic violence, adult literacy and services to seniors. The assessment also summarized strategies identified by Pinal County stakeholders, which United Way has adopted, in the form of a Community Impact Plan.

Logic models summarizing the strategies and outcomes in each of the five critical areas are shown here, with brief summaries of our progress on these issues to date.

Contact the United Way of Pinal County office to receive a copy of the original Community Impact Plan, or to find out more about our work in these critical areas.
